Najaf/Nina/ The supreme religious authority, Mr. Ali Al-Sistani, called for the importance of guiding the emerging generations in schools to the principles of belief in truth, the values of the true religion, common sense, and cooperation.
This came in a speech conveyed by his office in Najaf to the participants in the Third International Conference of Islamic Schools, which was hosted by the Hussein Shrine in Holy Karbala.
The Sistani authority stressed in the transmitted speech on “raising children and purifying their souls in a way that empowers these principles and teachings in them and protects them from misguidance, wandering, and suspicion, especially in this time in which the banners of misguidance have multiplied, whims and temptations have spread, suspicions have spread, and the factors of distorting common sense and noble moral values have expanded.”
The Sistani authority stressed that “one of the most prominent ways to achieve this noble goal, especially in diaspora countries and elsewhere, is to establish private schools that allow preserving the religious and cultural specificities of the children of the faithful communities, and to support these schools morally, culturally, and materially in a way that allows them to achieve their desired purpose in the best way.”/End
