The Dutch Curvy Label Yoek launches on the Day of Love, Friday, February 14, a collab with a new brand ambassador, namely Hannelore Zwitslood. After a first collaboration with model and influencer Isadee Jansen, the brand proudly hooks up the new ambassador, which has recently appeared regularly in the media with a very personal, honest story.
Hannelore Zwitslood, also known as “the most famous voice of the Netherlands”, is now not only known as presenter and newsreader at Radio 538, but also from her frequently listened podcast “Hannelore in your ears” in which she discusses current topics and taboos where many women herself can find it.
As a big fan of Yoek and years of personal contact with the team, the conversation started at the beginning of last year about a possible collaboration for her own collection, according to her “a dream come true”. An intensive brainstorming process followed with mood boards, conversations and especially the discovery tour of Hannelore in what she wants to radiate with her own line. This led to two main themes, currently both centrally in her personal life: “Releveling yourself” and ‘having love for yourself’. Topics that also fit perfectly with the new road that Yoek has recently taken. Hence the festive launch of the collection on Valentine’s Day, a day on which you can show not only the love for another, but especially for yourself!
Inclusive
Yoek consciously left the name ‘Plus Size’ behind last year, after a grand rebranding in November. Inclusivity within Fashion predominates and the fashion label strives to be the ambitious position after being a brand for all women. In 2025, the Dutch woman has average size 42, which has become mainstream Curves. Whether someone has size 38 or size 58, both can go to the brand.
This intensive change at the same time formed the creative basis for the Capsule collection Yoek x Hannelore Zwitslood, because it soon became clear that Hannelore is a big fan of butterflies. In this period for her a wonderful symbol that, among other things, formed the foundation for the designs. In addition to her love for gold, glamor and especially everything that is comfortable.
A black and white butterfly design adorns a comfortable range of lounge styles, with which you also dare to go to the supermarket. In addition, a pearl of a dress in the same print, with a female split and ruffles, pleated tunics in gold that are reminiscent of the famous Marilyn Monroe dress and plain black styles in refined tulle and mousse details. Every woman recognizes the feeling of lying on the couch during the day in a Comfy Chill-outfit, to shake into her most beautiful dress in the evening. This collection lends itself excellent for that, to turn out to a beautiful butterfly during the day. Hannelore was recently in the spotlights in the ShowStopper Dress of the collection, on the Rode Loper during the RadioRing Awards in Hilversum.
