‘Transformative Teal’ has been named the color of the year 2026 by color institutes WGSN and Coloro. According to the two, Transformative Teal is a fluid fusion of blue and green, reflecting the diversity of nature and an earth-centered mindset, in line with the growing demand for ecological responsibility (in light of the climate crisis). The blue-green hue is described as calming and restorative, with a transformative and regenerativecharacter.

FashionUnited has collected some looks from the catwalk in which the harmonious mix of blue and green or similar teal-tones have been used. From furry to leather coats such as those by London College of Fashion and Lanvin to eveningwear by Elie Saab and sporty menswear by Casablanca and Denzilpatrick.
Five other colours that have also been selected as fashion colours for spring/summer 2026 by WGSN and Coloro are the eye-catching bright pink/purple color ‘Electric Fuchsia‘, the light gray-blue shade’Blue Aura‘, a rich amber color with a hint of green’Amber Haze‘ and a mint green tint ‘Jelly Mint‘ (you see them below in the photo from left to right).
