The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was canceled in 2019 because the brand was “looking to reimagine the annual show and overhaul its marketing.” It was a result of declining ratings and criticism for a ‘lack of inclusivity’. After that, the show no longer appeared on television.
Until now. The Victoria’s Secret show made a return last night at 1:00 am and could be livestreamed via the American lingerie brand’s social media channels. Trans women walked the catwalk for the first time. Plus size models and women of color were also featured. Models such as Doutzen Kroes, Imaan Hammam, Rianne van Rompaey and Gigi and Bella Hadid also walked along.
