Perfect Secrets gives a Confidence Boost with a new line of solutions and Shapewear Gen Z. More fun, trend sensitive and the most beautiful quality for the best price. “We see that there is a clear movement under young girls in the market,” says Anniek, content marketer at Magic Bodyfashion in conversation with FashionUnited. “They are looking for a connection, are price -conscious, but want to be fashionable and confident. We wanted to respond to that, with a collection and communication that fits better with their world.”
Together with the team, Anniek worked out the concept for Perfe Secrets. “With the Know How, Team and the Sources of Magic Bodyfashion, we have compiled a compact on-trend Shapewear and Solution collection.” tells Inez, product developer and designer. “We really wanted to build a brand in which the Gen Z-target group recognizes itself, to build a community together.”
Confidence, Control and Community
Perfect Secrets is not about correcting or changing, but about replenishing your natural look, Inez emphasizes. “Shapewear is sometimes seen as something that you are wearing because you are not satisfied with your body. Perfect Secrets develops ShapeWear for every moment when you want to be in control. It adds something to your outfit and your lifestyle. It’s just that little extra self -confidence, whether you have a tight fashed solution. Perfectly in the right back. And Nude, with six Seamless Shaping products and four firm shaping styles, “explains Inez.” In addition, we have four Backless Bras and a few must-have accessories such as Fashion Tape, Boob Tape and Clips. Actually the basics that Gen-Z’er must have in her closet. “
According to Anniek and Inez, Empowerment goes beyond the product. The brand will build an active community in which young girls recognize themselves and strengthen each other. “Our customers are actually the faces of the brand,” says Anniek. “Everyone can become part of the ‘Girl Squad’, and of course we fully use social media for that, from Tiktok and Instagram to even Snapchat.”
Festive launch on the Prinsengracht
On September 26, Perfect Secrets will officially live live with an influencer event at the hotspot location at Prinsengracht 581 in Amsterdam. “We really want to make it a party,” says Anniek. “It becomes visual, energetic and above all very bad Z.” The brand is already visible on social media and focuses on short videos, funny trends, Behind-the-Scenes moments and of course content about the products themselves.
Perfect Secrets is not a spin -off from Magic Bodyfashion, “you can see it earlier as the younger sister,” says Anniek. “The customer who is not yet ready for Magic Bodyfashion, but will continue to grow there later.” The brands continue to communicate separately, although the link is there in the background, for example in production, because it still happens in the familiar factories of Magic Bodyfashion.
The price is lower than with Magic Bodyfashion, but the quality is guaranteed. “We use other techniques, new materials and trendy fits,” explains Inez. “We have looked at what fits within the price range of our target group, without making concessions to Performance or Feel.” For the distribution, the brand consciously opts for e-commerce. “Our customers just shop online,” says Anniek. “That is why we first launch on platforms such as Zalando, About You, ASOS, Wehkamp and Amazon. We do not exclude physical retail in the future, but for now our focus is really online.”
Boob Tape as the bestseller and watch the future
What’s best under Gen Z? “The solutions, without a doubt,” says Inez. “Boob Tape is a classic. Everyone knows it and everyone uses it. It is standard in your bag or when you go on holiday.” The brand’s slogan fits in perfectly with that: The only secret you want to share.
The ambitions of the team extend beyond the Netherlands. “We want to grow, worldwide,” says Anniek. “We are already working on international marketplaces and noticing that our content also works abroad. The idea is that girls all over the world can recognize themselves in what we do, and become part of that community. Because in the end they are the Main Character in their own story, we only give them the tools to do that with style and self -confidence.”
