A brief statement from the Football Association’s media channel, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said, “Youssef Al-Imam, Amin Al-Hamawi and Buland Azad joined the Olympic team delegation participating in the finals of the Asian Championship qualifying for the Paris Olympics.”
It is noteworthy that our Olympic team arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, last Sunday to enter a short training camp, including a friendly match with its Japanese counterpart, in preparation for the Asian finals that qualify for the Paris Olympics.
