Today, Saturday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani and Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein discussed ways to strengthen economic partnership and integration in various development sectors.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated, in a statement received by Al-Rasheed, that Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani met with the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, on the sidelines of his participation in the Munich Security Conference 2024.
The statement added, “The meeting witnessed discussion of bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to strengthen economic partnership and integration in various development sectors, for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples, and to enhance sustainable development opportunities.”
He continued: “The developments in the situation in Gaza, the continuation of the aggression, and the exposure of the Palestinian people to the crime of genocide were also discussed.”
The Prime Minister stressed, “the necessity of working to stop the systematic killing, and urging major countries and international organizations to make efforts, provide humanitarian aid, and prevent the spread of conflict in the region.”
