A statement by the Ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, “The Ministry of Defense invites applicants to volunteer as a soldier (special forces). The Ministry’s staff, who have passed the medical examination, physical fitness tests, and interview, must review the training centers indicated for each one of them for the purpose of joining and directing, for a period of 17 / 2 until 2/23, bringing with them the original and photocopied identification documents.”
He added, “The right of anyone who misses the enrollment deadline within the period specified above will be forfeited,” stressing that “applicants who do not know their application numbers should review the nearest volunteer center to their area of residence.”
