The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security, during which the latest developments in the security situation were discussed.” In Iraq, and to deliberate on the topics on the agenda and make recommendations regarding them.”

He continued, “In another axis, the Ministry of Interior’s proposal was discussed to create a security attaché in Iraqi embassies and missions, at the level of a department linked to the Directorate of International Cooperation.
