Today, Saturday, the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, issued new directives regarding securing the visit of Imam Al-Kadhim, peace be upon him.

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “In conjunction with the approaching commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Musa bin Jaafar, peace be upon him, the Minister of the Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Security Committee to secure the rugby visit, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, conducted a tour in the capital, Baghdad, to follow up on the progress of the security plan for this event.” The important visit, accompanied by the Director of the Prime Minister’s Follow-up Office, the Commander of Baghdad Operations, the Commander of Rusafa Operations, the Director of Operations in the Ministry, and the Security Advisor.”
She added, “The Minister reviewed the roads designated for the movement of visitors heading to the holy city of Kadhimiya in various areas on the Rusafa side of Baghdad,” noting, “The Minister directed a set of recommendations that would make this immortal visit a success and provide a safe and appropriate atmosphere for all visitors while ensuring smooth flow.” Movement on the roads and providing the best services for this blessed march.”
