A statement from the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: “Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, chaired a meeting at the ministry’s headquarters to discuss the work of the General Traffic Directorate, in the presence of the Undersecretary for Police Affairs and a number of advisors and traffic directors.”
He added, “The attendees discussed many important issues that would develop work at vehicle registration sites and provide the best services to citizens and reduce the burden on them, in addition to discussing intensifying efforts to relieve traffic congestion and developing immediate and rapid solutions in the streets that are witnessing heavy traffic, especially during this period.” the days”.
