The head of the Iranian judiciary, Mohseni Egeh, arrived today, Tuesday, in the capital, Baghdad, on an official visit.
The Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council stated, in a statement received by Al-Rashid, that “The Deputy President of the Court of Cassation, Judge Zaidoun Saadoun, received the Head of the Judicial Authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei.”
He added, “The visit of the head of the Iranian judiciary to Baghdad, accompanied by a high-level judicial delegation, comes in response to an official invitation from the head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, to strengthen legal and judicial relations between the two countries.”
He continued, “Participating in the reception were the Chief Public Prosecutor, Najm Abdullah, the Head of the Judicial Supervision Authority, Judge Laith Jabr, the President of the Rusafa Court of Appeal, Judge Imad Al-Jabri, and the President of the Karkh Court of Appeal, Judge Khaled Taha.”
