The Federal Integrity Commission announced today, Monday, the arrest of the Director of the Government Contracts Department in Dhi Qar Governorate, Raisi, and members of two committees, on the grounds of committing violations in a project that cost more than eleven billion dinars.

He added, “The Financial Supervision Bureau’s report, the external audit report, and the work teams detected violations in the implementation of the project that was referred to two contracting companies,” pointing out that “research and investigation are underway for seven other defendants, who are the chairman and members of the committee preparing the technical inspection and designs and members of the resident engineer’s department.” ; After arrest warrants were issued against them.”
He continued, “In the Real Estate Registration Office in Al-Batha, three people were arrested while they were unofficially monitoring real estate ownership transactions, noting that real estate transactions and records were seized in the possession of the defendants who were brought before the competent investigating judge; To take the appropriate decision against them.”
