The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defense systems shot down a Tochka-U tactical missile in the airspace of Belgorod Province.

The ministry’s statement said: “Thwarting an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack on targets in the territory of the Russian Federation, at approximately 21:15 Moscow time.”
The Ministry had previously announced the destruction of four Ukrainian aerial bombs and two missiles over Belgorod District.
