An angry Ricky Stenhouse Jr. confronted Kyle Busch and then punched him after Sunday night’s NASCAR All-Star race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, sparking controversy A brief fight broke out between the two teams in the garage.
Stenhouse made an aggressive move on the first lap of the race and Busch ended up hitting the wall, which caused Busch to intentionally knock Stenhouse down and eliminate him on the second lap. It was an old track with no exit tunnel, so Stenhouse had nothing to do but wait for Busy until the end of the race.
Sure enough, Stenhouse was standing next to the driver of Busch’s truck when the driver of No. 8 approached. After a brief conversation, Stenhouse waved his hands, sparking a fight. Then team members got involved.

“You hit the fence yourself,” Stenhouse said, according to the video clip. CompetitorJordan Beach. “I didn’t touch you!”
When Bush disputed this, Stenhouse’s eyes widened and he added, “I didn’t touch you. Not just once.”
“We all turn on each other,” Bush said.
“No, we – you hit the fence, and then you hit me,” Stenhouse said.
Busch then said that wasn’t true, and Stenhouse pumped his fist and appeared to hit Busch in the face.
After the initial contact, Stenhouse’s father – Ricky Stenhouse Sr. – also chased Bush and punched him.
“Dad! Dad!” the younger Stenhouse said after being knocked to the ground, then asked a crew member: “Can you find my dad?” “
The elder Stenhouse and Busch struggled angrily and grabbed each other for a moment before being pulled apart.
“Bring it! I won’t give–” Bush then shouted to little Stenhouse. “I’m just as bad as you! Let’s go!”
Busch was referring to his disappointing season so far and his 10th-place finish Sunday night. Stenhouse has also struggled this year after winning the Daytona 500 last season.
