The directorate stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “on Thursday, March 28, Cordoba Square will be cut off from all directions for the purpose of completing the cladding and street planning process.”
She added, “The cuts will be as follows:
1- From the club intersection towards Cordoba.
2-From Aviation Square towards Cordoba.
3-From the highway from the Nahda side towards Cordoba.
4-From the highway from the side of Al-Shaab Stadium towards Cordoba.
She pointed out that “measures have been taken and the area has been reinforced with patrols and bicycles for the purpose of smooth traffic flow.”
