Although we think that the closets of many royals are full of designer pieces, every now and then they simply opt for the high street. Princess Victoria of Sweden recently did it, combining her (undoubtedly) priceless tiara with a gala dress from this famous retail chain.
Swedish Princess Victoria recently attended a dinner for Nobel Prize winners in Stockholm, where for the occasion she paired her diamond tiara with a gala dress from the chain where many of us regularly shop.
Princess Victoria combines priceless diamond tiara with H&M dress
The Royal Palace in Stockholm was the location last week where Nobel Prize winners gathered for dinner. Whoever was joining us Princess Victoriaand she did it in one gala dress from H&M. Which, by the way, she also wore before. And that makes us happy, because why would you wear something even once?
Princess Victoria wore her dark blue long H&M dress with ruffles and chiffon and paired it with a diamond necklace and her 119-year-old diamond Boucheron Laurel Wreath Tiaravia Instyle. The long dark blue gala dress comes from H&M Conscious collectionwhere sustainability is paramount. And she looked great. Photo of Princess Victoria in H&M dress see you here.
The high-street retailer’s gala dress was not purchased specifically for the dinner with the winners. It was already an ‘oldie’ from her closet, and we love seeing it. Princess Victoria wore the dress more often. The first time was during her and Prince Daniel’s portrait shoot in 2020. After which she took the dress out of the closet again two years later, to wear the dress again last week. And that’s how we like it.
