Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received today, Wednesday, the Chairman of the Communications and Media Commission, Ali Hussein Al-Muayyad, where they discussed the Commission’s activity and the progress of its regulatory work in the broadcasting sector, communications networks and related services.
The meeting also reviewed the Authority’s work in supporting government committees for digital transformation, artificial intelligence applications, cybersecurity, and ways to provide infrastructure to support the digital economy.
The Prime Minister pointed out the importance of expanding enhanced applications to create job opportunities for young people in the field of knowledge economy, economic activities based on the existence of a safe, secure and easy-to-employ digital environment, and cooperation with the Supreme Council for Youth and the trends it adopts in this development sector.
