The Milan Fashion Week for women’s fashion takes place from September 22 to 28. The event is organized with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the ICE Agency and the City of Milan. So far, 60 fashion shows are scheduled, of which 54 are physical and six are digital.
According to the calendar published yesterday by the Camera della Moda, Prada will open fashion week on September 22. On the same day, Diesel and J.Salinas, among others, will present their collections. The next day it is the turn of Luisa Beccaria, Jil Sander, Daniela Gregis, Antonio Marras, Fendi, Vivetta, MM6 Maison Margiela, Missoni and Etro. Giorgio Armani will hold his show on Sunday, September 27. On the same day, Casa Preti and Francesca Liberatore can also be seen on the catwalk.
Newcomers in Milan
The September issue marks the debut of Moschino’s new creative directors: Sunnei founders Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo. Several new brands are presenting their collections for the first time in Milan. This includes Marques’ Almeida, a Portuguese brand founded in 2011 by Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida. The brand is winner of the LVMH Prize. Miguel Vieira, a Portuguese brand founded in 1988, is also present for the first time. Other debutants include Neithan Herbert, a Mexican brand from Ecuadorian designer Neithan Ruiz, and Victor-Hart. The latter is the recipient of the ‘The Max&Co. Design for Change’ grant from the Camera Moda Fashion Trust Grant 2024.
The Camera Moda confirms its support for brands and designers of the new generation, according to a press release. The Cnmi Fashion Hub opens in the Palazzo Morando on Tuesday, September 22. The twelfth edition of the Milano Moda Graduate will take place on Sunday, September 27. This is a fashion show dedicated to students from Italian fashion schools.
The final show program, including presentations and events, will be presented on September 8.
