Welcome to “Destination Paris”, FRANCE 24’s new weekly show ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics. Every Thursday we will be getting you into the Olympics spirit with the latest news, reports and guests. The world will be watching this summer as 10,500 athletes compete in 32 sports in Paris and elsewhere in France. FRANCE 24 has been following a few of them as they prepare for the Games. We speak to canoe sprinter Saman Soltani, who will be competing at her first Olympics with the IOC Refugee Team. Our correspondents meet Senegalese judoka Mbagnick Ndiaye, who hopes to bring back a medal. And here in France, our reporters met up with professional surfer Ainhoa Leiceaga, who is hoping to compete at the 2028 Olympics.
