The Dutch suit brand Wmnsuit sees brides every week who opt for a suit instead of a dress for their wedding. Co-founder Fleur Huijs reports this on LinkedIn. These requests prompted the brand to expand its offering within this segment.
Founders Michelle Haagmans and Fleur Huijs have worked on developing a special bridal collection. The designs and fits have been worked out behind the scenes over the past period. From June, brides can go to Wmnsuit for custom-made suits within this collection. The line includes various style elements, including off-shoulder designs, lace, capes and various sleeve variations.
Customization as the most important pillar within growth strategy
The launch of the bridal collection follows a broader development within the brand. According to previous reports from FashionUnited, the majority of Wmnsuit’s turnover now comes from tailor-made suits, while ready-to-wear forms a smaller, stable pillar.
In addition, Wmnsuit is working on further growth. The brand previously expressed its ambition to achieve a turnover of one million euros by 2026 and focuses on several pillars, including pop-ups, online visibility and B2B activities.
