23 minutes Danilo’s foul meant City took a free kick 25 yards out to the left of centre… and De Bruyne hit the ball into Boly’s face. He’ll need a little time, but he’ll be fine.
22 minutes For a moment, it looked like Hudson-Odoi had been hit by a long ball! But Ake, who looked defeated, stretched out a leg and then Stephen was able to create.
22 minutes Glarish and De Bruyne teamed up to save Wagvaldiol from behind.
21 minutes Forest will be very pleased with their start, while City usually keep their distance and the threat on the counter-attack is real.
19 minutes “Watching City do their thing at 0-0 when you really hope the game isn’t going to be a blowout reminds you of another one of Wonka’s words,” Joe Pearson said. “‘The suspense is terrible. I hope it lasts.
Wonka has to be one of the greatest book adaptations of all time. “The Third Man” is also good, and “The Godfather” is certainly good. Is there more?
18 minutes Ederson’s problem was with his left shoulder, so Ortega did a little warm-up, but he didn’t have to.
16 minutes Ederson fell to the ground and he collided with Boly as he picked up the ball. I think he’ll be fine.
16 minutes Ederson couldn’t hold on to the next corner, but he did give it away.
15 minutes Now Williams has Forest taken away, his cross going in behind to produce another corner…
14 minutes Forest cleared a corner kick but lost the ball. Doku failed to catch the shot and the ball deflected off the far post.
13 minutes De Bruyne scored a beautiful goal and Murillo headed it over his own bar with Rodri lurking in the middle.
13 minutes De Bruyne found Doku flickering between Niyahat and Aina to win a free kick near the right corner of the penalty area…
12 minutes Gibbs-White curls on the wall…and on the bar.
10 minutes Aina gained possession and charged forward, so Doku, who didn’t want to follow him, admitted the foul. Free kick 25 yards from the left side of Forest’s center.
10 minutes “I’d like to speculate that Pep was wearing a ‘waffle braid,'” said Peter Dodd.
I’m not sure I know what that is, but I think it’s a good thing.
9 minutes Rodri stepped past Gibbs White and got rid of him with a brilliant challenge, Grealish passed to De Bruyne on the left side of the penalty area and he opened up and fired the ball in… Beyond the goalposts.
7 minutes “I want Forest to stay up as much as you do,” said Stephen Halliday. “I have fond memories of Steve Sutton’s goalkeeping for reasons I’m not quite sure about. But I hope Luton can stay up too. But I’m a Tottenham fan so I hope City can stuff Forest today , for obvious reasons I’m confused…”
As Willy Wonka almost said, so much hate, so little time.
5 minutes Glarish and Gvaldiol passed the ball to the left. When the ball passed inside, De Bruyne passed the ball behind him.
4 minutes Manchester City carried on while the crowd made obscene suggestions about Gary Neville’s favorite pastime.
3 minutes “It’s not double knit,” scolded Gina Jolliffe. “Looks more like Alan’s weight…”
Whatever it is, you won’t miss it.
1 minute Aina stepped on the accelerator, launched a fierce attack to the left, and hit the full-back on the other side with a cross! But instead of taking advantage of his shot, Williams fired a volley into the ground and was cleared.
1 minute let’s go!
Meditations on Gentile Time. I hope Forest stay up, or so I would if I wasn’t being completely impartial – a proper football club that the top flight needs.
Our team sets off in formation, City Stadium is loud.
On Arsenal, If City drop any points, they can win the league as long as they win every game. I doubt they expected that to happen today and in the future, Wolves (H), Fulham (A), Tottenham (A), West Ham United (H). Looks ominous doesn’t it.
“I’m an Arsenal supporter and I really wanted to see Robertson and Francis start for Forest today,Alan Baverstock writes. “Too disappointed.”
Not even Tommy Gaynor, Franz Karl or Phil Starbuck.
Mers thinks Forest could do better 4-5-1 instead of 5-4-1, especially considering City may not have a suitable centre-forward. I tend to agree because I think they need to compete in the midfield; their defense isn’t strong enough to withstand sustained pressure.
By the way, Guardiola Wear clothes with double knits, open plackets and high collars. I believe the Premier League has now revised 115 to 116.
“That’s just the way it is,” When asked about Foden’s absence, Guardiola gave advice; I have more news.
Meanwhile, Nuno said any outcome is possible and he wants his team to work towards it.
I’ve said it before, Guardiola’s style of football is the hardest to beat ever. As evidence, consider that Spain, despite not fielding a recognized striker and not even being coached by Guardiola, has won three games in a row. The only similar influence I can think of is Mourinho’s Chelsea, who continued to win because of him in the years after he left.
Look towards the forest again, City’s changes may help their game plan, as Grelish and Doku are not as defensively capable as Foden and Bernardo in midfield on Thursday night. They have to be brave, have numbers, but most importantly, they have to make good and quick decisions with the ball.
Cities, on the other hand, do what they do; Beat it until the forest loses patience or attention. It’s hard to pick from back fives and fours, but no one is better at it.
Where is the game? Well, Nuno’s thinking seems clear and his 4-5-1 formation looks designed to attack City from the flanks. Josco Gwadiol is not a left-back, so I would like to see Elanga running in behind him, with Morgan Gibbs-White looking to support Chris Wood. But the question is how much of the ball they would get if the midfield four were potentially lined up on the pitch.
Arsenal hold on Defeated Tottenham 3-2 and currently leads the standings by 4 points. Although Manchester City still has two games left, they are now 9 points behind on goal difference.
e-mail! “Good morning Pittsburgh!” Eric Peterson began. “Although it’s a risk, I don’t think Nottingham Forest’s defeat in this game was because of VAR. In the whole Mark Clattenburg soap opera, I’m surprised UEFA and even FIFA haven’t stepped in yet.” The integrity of the game is one thing and it is another for club officials to do so, but Clattenberg, a former internationally certified referee, backed up such accusations through his paid employment with the club. Inexcusable. I recommend considering a lifetime ban.
I think it’s cruel and we’ve all said stupid things before. But I agree this is very strange behavior, and Forest’s tweet last Sunday was completely embarrassing.
Three extremely poor decisions – three no penalties – which we simply cannot accept.
We warned PGMOL before the game that VAR was Luton fans but they didn’t change him. Our patience has been tested many times.
The NFFC will now consider its options.

Son shoots the penalty into the side netting Spurs still had three minutes and added time to try to draw with Manchester City and seal the title.
Oh my god, gave Tottenham their first goal—— David Raya passed the ball straight to Cristian Romero and Declan Rice hoofed Ben Davies in the box ), Tottenham have a chance to chase the score to 3-2!
As for Manchester City, Guardiola has a slightly new look, Jeremy Doku and Jack Grealish replace Phil Foden and Mateo Kovacic. Foden was absent due to illness and Kovacic was on the bench. Erling Haaland is also back from injury and is on the bench.
Back to the team, Nuno Espirito Santo made two changes to the side that lost to Everton, with Nicolás Domingos and Gio Reina withdrawing – and the more solid side must have been injured – — while Anthony Elanga and a healthy Willie Boly come on.
Tottenham have a dynamic man…

Preface
It might be polite to wait for the north London derby to be over before starting, but given the timing it’s not realistically possible, nor is it entirely necessary given Tottenham and the course of the game in general. Because, like all great champions, City fought tooth and nail to win one point more than any challenger who would deprive them of the title, their unshakable confidence inspired by a manager with a style of play that is the most difficult to beat in the history of football.
However, despite Forest’s lower status, they are not an easy team to beat. Backed by a raucous crowd desperate to help them stay up, their muscle speed and creativity, especially on the counter, could be a threat to City – if they can keep the back door closed.
if. Just a week earlier, Forest had conceded twice to Everton, a hard-earned achievement, while City suffered a devastating defeat in their usual easy and inevitable fashion. Since the 0-0 draw with Arsenal, they have scored 4 goals against Villa, 4 goals against Crystal Palace, 5 goals against Luton Town, and 4 goals against Brighton, or in other words, Forest Got into trouble. But they have a way out of it and if they can it could make tonight’s title race and relegation battle very different. Even if they can’t, this should be a nice afternoon intensity, so let’s just wade in.
