Najaf Al-Ashraf International Airport announced today, Monday, the reception of 81 flights from various countries of the Islamic world to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him).
Media Director of Najaf International Airport, Hussein Halbous, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The number of flights at Najaf International Airport for the period from 19-21 Ramadan reached (81 flights).”
He added, “These flights carried 9,778 passengers from various countries of the Islamic world to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him).”
