Baghdad/ Nina/ The Military Intelligence Directorate announced the seizure of (8,915) kg of heroin-type drugs in Anbar Governorate.
The Directorate said in a statement that, as part of its relentless efforts to impose security and pursue crime and drug gangs, and after receiving confirmed intelligence information to the Fifth Division Division affiliated with the Directorate, a force from the Nineteenth Brigade carried out a joint mission with the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Department, through which it was able to seize a large quantity of Drugs, estimated at approximately (8,915) kg of the narcotic heroin, south of the village of Al-Daraama, affiliated to Al-Rutba District in Anbar Governorate,./End
