The Summum Fall 2024 collection is trickling into stores – and there’s a lot to see. Wool tartans, unusual textures and blanket-like jackets reveal the collection’s inspiration: the Scottish Highlands.
Home in the Highlands
The Fall 2024 collection has arrived! Team Summum went to the Scottish Highlands for the photoshoot and was carried away by the atmosphere of lodges and tall tales of myths and monsters, as well as life in vibrant cities such as Glasgow and Edinburgh. This local colour is reflected in the designs for Fall 2024.
Colors and styles
We start the fall season with a base of ivory and black, with orange and cassis to spice up the palette. In a later delivery, trend color true red, caramel coffee and choco will follow, followed by peacock, midnight blue and olive green.
We see a lot of wool tartans, for jackets with army details, blanket-like jackets and loose-fitting trousers, next to luxurious knits in different wool qualities, including bouclé. The silhouette is predominantly spacious, with feminine shorts, skirts, blouses and sweaters that you wear layer upon layer. The wool blazer with a belt gives power to different looks. Extra attention is paid to accessories: a bag with generous pleats, fluffy scarves, caps and warm balaclavas complete outfits.
Blue Daze by Summum
The Blue Daze denim line by Summum focuses on different stonewashed qualities in black and blue, from chic rinse washed jumpsuits to faded cargo pants. Trousers are casual and wide, with pleats or pockets on the side. The matching cropped jackets with different design details can also be slipped on over your dress – easy. Our popular flared trousers Juliet remain, because a proven hit.
