
Leaders around the world are calling for restraint on Israel’s part as the nation’s war cabinet meets on Wednesday to discuss a potential response to Iran’s attack Saturday. “Israel is not looking for a regional escalade,” said Hen Feder, spokesperson for the Israeli embassy in France. Sanctions on Iran, however, are “imperative” and should “come sooner than later”, he said.
