
An investigation into the killings of 15 Palestinian medics last month in Rafah found that Israeli forces committed “professional failures”, which would lead to the dismissal of a deputy commander. Israel initially alleged that the medics’ vehicles did not have emergency signals on when troops opened fire, a claim contradicted by video evidence.
