Celine x Reebok is the talk of the town
Since Michael Rider is at the helm as creative director of Celine, we will undoubtedly see some impressive shoes from the fashion house – especially in the field of sneakers. The brand – recognizable with a sleek, flat lace-up sneaker with a rubber sole and a leather lining. Yet the latest pair, introduced at Celine’s Spring/Summer 2027 menswear show, really catches our attention.
The enthusiasm of a collab is partly due to the fact that Phoebe Philo and Hedi Slimane (the previous creative directors of the brand) were not known for their collaborations. The fashion house’s last major collaboration dates back to 2010, with Safilo – a sunglasses brand.
You understand – when we got the Celine x Reebok collaboration saw it appear on the catwalk – it was immediately the one talk of town of the show.
Everything about the shoe
You may be thinking: a very simple, white sneaker. But as Celine’s first-ever sneaker collaboration, these shoes are a big theme in their own right. Instead of focusing on collaboration during his first menswear showintroduced Rider them rather subtle. If you didn’t pay close attention to the runwayyou might have missed the shoes altogether. And that fits more with a more ‘old Celine’ style: modest.
A reinterpretation of Reebok’s archive model
The shoe is a reinterpretation of Reebok’s archive model Freestyle. This model was originally launched in 1982 and is known as one of the first sports shoes which was specially designed for women. Rider has reimagined this classic with soft lambskin leather uppers and aged and worn finishes. You can see the subtle Celine branding as well as the traditional Reebok logo. According to High Snobiety, the shoe will be released in six different options colorways.

A second release is expected in early 2027, matching the release from the spring/summer collection.

No official price has yet been announced for the Celine × Reebok sneakers. But based on the average sneaker prices Celine’s website estimates that she is between 800 and 1000 euros will cost.
