Israel launched “extensive” new ground operations in the Gaza Strip on Sunday after Israeli air strikes across the enclave killed at least 103 people overnight, medical authorities said. Shortly after the new offensive’s launch, Hamas claimed responsibility for two projectiles identified near Kissufim in northern Israel. Meanwhile, indirect talks between Israel and Hamas continued in Doha.
