
Fears of an Israeli occupation of southern Lebanon are growing among residents as more and more people become displaced due to ongoing air strikes, FRANCE 24’s Olivia Bizot said, reporting from Beirut. “The people who are now being displaced are often often being displaced for the second or third time since 2024”, Bizot said, citing locals who say they have the impression that “history is repeating itself”.
