Five years ago his journey started with Equalité, driven by the dream to create a clothing brand that goes beyond fashion alone. He says: “At the age of seventeen I started working in a clothing store, initially as a part -time job in addition to my studies. After my studies I continued to work there as a manager and marketing manager, where I gained valuable experience. I was inspired by major brands such as Nike and Adidas, and how they developed their products and launches Equalité.”

The opening of Equalité’s first Flagshipstore in Rotterdam marks an exciting new chapter for the brand. This inspiring space offers customers the opportunity to experience the world of equalité in a completely new way. “At a time when everyone mainly goes online, we have decided to do it differently. We think that as long as we can make our community happy and offer something cool, we are on the right path. That confidence has led us to open our first flagship store in May 2024.” The store, located in a city that is synonymous with streetwear culture, offers more than just the latest collections. Customers can go there for accessories, perfumes, luxury skincare and enjoy a drink in the Equalité Café.
Chapter 50: Fashion that pushes boundaries
The newest collection, Chapter 50. Sandscape Race, combines the soft shapes of the desert with the roughness of a desert rally. Gürhan explains: “We see a shift of clothing for men and women to Unisex Mode. Our collection embraces this change and offers pieces that are accessible to everyone.” This collection reflects Equalité’s dedication to innovation and cultural diversity, where each piece tells a story that goes beyond fashion alone.
Grow with a strong vision
Equalité has developed into a brand that is loved by young people between the ages of 16 and 30 and is recognizable on the street. The brand continues to grow through a strong bond with its community and strives that customers not only wear their clothing, but also become involved in their mission of equality and inclusiveness.

This significantly improves the online shop experience for consumers.” Equalité already uses AI in the background and is planning to show this more in the foreground soon.
