For spring/summer 2027, the Dutch menswear brand Dstrezzed is taking its retail partners on a journey through Albania. From sun-drenched vineyards and rugged coastlines to Mediterranean villages: the country’s culture, landscape and wine tradition shape the atmosphere of the collection.
The ‘style clash’, which has now become part of the brand DNA, is also central to SS27. Instead of traditional formalwear, Dstrezzed interprets tailoring in a modern way, with relaxed co-ord sets such as overshirts with matching trousers. The brand consciously positions itself in the middle of a market that shifts between polished and relaxed, where comfort and refinement meet.
For the modern gent
SS27 focuses on the modern gent aged 30 to 45, who consciously chooses clothing with character and prefers to invest in a well-thought-out wardrobe than in fleeting trends. The collection appeals to both the younger, creative gent with contemporary silhouettes and distinctive pieces, and the established entrepreneur and family man, for whom high-quality materials and timeless items are central. Both groups share the need for comfort, quality and confident style, which is reflected in the brand’s relaxed ‘don’t stress’ mentality.
Silhouette and hero pieces
Summer fabrics occupy a central position in almost every product group, with linen as the strongest pillar due to its natural character and breathable quality. The silhouette shifts to a looser and wider profile, balancing comfort and sophistication. The hero pieces from SS27 are statement knitwear, crochet tops and richly detailed overshirts with placed artwork and embroidery. Jacquards and damask structures add depth and a luxurious look, while the co-ord sets are easily sold in stores as complete look solutions.
Four drops, one color story
The fixed basic colors Dark Navy, Taupe, Sand, Antique White and Mid Gray form the foundation of the collection, supplemented with a color story that follows the Albanian journey in four drops. Drop 1 opens in January with warm wine-inspired shades like Red Mahogany and Adobe Rose. In February, Drop 2 brings deep blue shades such as Sargasso Blue and Blue Jasper, a reference to the Adriatic and Ionian Sea. Drop 3 introduces natural green shades such as Light Army and Balsam Green in March, inspired by the Albanian interior. Drop 5 closes the season in April with soft pastels in Lavender Gray and Light Violet.
Shirts and denim as commercial pillars
The shirt offering represents one of SS27’s strongest commercial segments, with a wide range of styling, fabrics and graphics in both short and long sleeve options. Many styles are paired with matching pants or shorts for complete, easy-to-sell sets. In addition, Dstrezzed is fully committed to the comeback of denim, with an extensive package of qualities, washes and fits, from clean and refined to casual and outspoken. Together, shirts and denim form the commercial backbone of the season, supplemented with elevated basics, overshirts and co-ord sets as strong supporting categories.
Growth and partnership
At brand level, Dstrezzed is building on a strong foundation in the Benelux and is now taking the first steps in the DACH region. With a dedicated brand manager within the Ben & Agency, there is a more focused focus on the brand, which contributes to a better sell-through performance and a stronger visual presentation in the store. The brand consciously opted for an upgrade in price-quality ratio, which has resulted in a better balanced collection without significant discussions about price sensitivity. The partnership model remains unchanged, which means that the competitive conditions for retail partners remain the same. A new strategy around delivery windows also ensures a more balanced delivery flow and coordinated invoicing throughout the season.
