What will happen this week anyway? FashionUnited looks ahead to the fashion news of week 52. Below are the main points from the editorial agenda for the period from Monday December 23 to Sunday December 29.
‘Fashion Future’: What does the young generation demand from the fashion industry?
Fashion has always been obsessed with youth. Trend seminars and conferences repeatedly emphasize the importance of attracting Generation Z – born between 1997 and 2012 – and Generation Alpha, which will grow into teenagers in the coming years, as a target group, but this is usually missing. FashionUnited attended the Fashion Future conference, organized by the German fashion association Fashion Council Germany (FCG) and the educational charity The King’s Foundation in Scotland, where things were done differently: Instead of worrying about how the younger generation sector sees and which problems concern them, the young people had their own input.

This week we are talking about the Spanish luxury brand, yes, Spanish, Paris/64, which has just officially opened the doors of its own production factory; a facility located in the Aragonese city of Illueca, which we were able to tour for the first time with the help of the company’s founders.
