A statement by the Popular Mobilization Forces, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: “A joint force from the Fourth Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the army was able to destroy logistical support sites for the remnants of the terrorist ISIS north of Diyala Governorate.”
The statement added, “This came during a large security operation carried out by the force within the Diyala operations sector of the Popular Mobilization Forces, where it was able to find logistical support locations for the remnants of the terrorist ISIS in the village of Al-Kaij, which the terrorist elements were using to store food supplies,” indicating that “The force managed to destroy those places.”
