Designer Demna reveals that his debut show for Gucci will take place in March 2026. This will be deleted from the Spring/Summer Damess Show that normally takes place at the end of September, this year from the calendar. “I need more than two months to develop a vision,” says Gucci’s new main designer to fashion journalist Suzy Menkes. That can be seen in a video on Instagram from Menkes.
Demna emphasizes Menkes that in the meantime he wants to “remember the audience what the Gucci brand is.”
Demna, graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Antwerp (Belgium), worked at Maison Margiela and Vuitton before he founded the Vetements brand with his brother in 2014. In 2015, artistic director of Balenciaga was appointed. In March 2025 he was appointed creative director of Gucci, a role that he has fulfilled since this month.
