The Ministry of Youth and Sports, Division of Sports for People with Disabilities and Special Needs, concluded the activities of the Ramadan Futsal Championship for the Deaf and Mute, which was organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports in cooperation with the Paralympic Federation of the Deaf and Mute in the Sports Activities Hall at the Ministry’s headquarters, with the participation of four teams.

A statement from the media office of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “the closing match brought together the Al-Ishraq and Al-Majd teams and ended in favor of the first team on penalty shoot-out with a score of (1-0) to be crowned champions of the championship.”
The statement added, “At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Director General of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Muwaffaq Abdel Wahab, and the Director of the Sports Activities Department, Najm Abdel Mutasher, distributed cups and medals to the winning teams in a wonderful Ramadan atmosphere.”
