Blundstone and Amsterdam’s Pop Trading Company are launching a collaboration with a new interpretation of the Chelsea boot. The collection, consisting of three limited-edition models, explores the tactile properties of cowhide with hair. The natural variations, stripes and the unique character of the material are central.
The project results, after a series of treatments and operations, in three different versions of the classic Blundstone boot.
“The collaboration with Pop Trading Company is a completely unexpected reinterpretation of the iconic Chelsea boot. The upper and heel loop materials give each boot a unique pattern and character. No two pairs are the same, making this limited-edition collection even more exclusive,” said Joe Carfora, global range manager of Blundstone, in a statement.
The new models are available from today, July 22, at the Pop Trading Company flagship store in Amsterdam and online, and at selected Blundstone stores and online.
The Blundstone & Pop Trading Company Pony model costs 300 euros, the Glazed Ginger 255 euros, as does the Double Black.
Pop Trading Company, founded in 2013, is a brand from Amsterdam with deep roots in skate culture. The brand combines its heritage with contemporary men’s fashion.
