The British luxury Streetwear label Representation unveils its first full women’s collection on 12 February: Representation Woman. This line is specially designed for the growing female fan base and retains the characteristic style of the brand, without simply copying the men’s collections, the brand emphasizes in a press release to FashionUnited.
Designer Toni Purdie, former Topshop designer, leads the new Women’s Clothing Team from Representation, which consists entirely of women. The collection includes more than 30 items, such as hoodies, racerback tops, cut-out bodies, jeans and silk dresses. A large part of the collection is produced in Great Britain
Represent was founded in 2012 by brothers George and Michael Heaton and is known worldwide in the Streetwear market. The brand mainly sells via e-commerce, temporary events and large retail partners, including the Bijenkorf and Selfridges. The launch of representative Woman is accompanied by an exclusive pop-up in self-ridges and events in the flagship stores in LA and Manchester.
