Barcelona defeated its host Deportivo Alaves 3-1 on Saturday evening, as part of the 23rd round of the Spanish League.
Barca’s hat-trick was signed by Robert Lewandowski, Ilkay Gundogan and Vitor Roque in the 22nd, 49th and 63rd minutes, while Amorodion scored Alaves’ goal in the 51st minute.
Barcelona raised its score to 50 points in third place in the La Liga table, while Alaves’ score froze at 26 points in 12th place.
Alaves achieved 3 consecutive victories in La Liga, before losing today to Barcelona, while the Catalan team achieved its second successive victory in the competition.
The match began with pressure from Barcelona, and Joao Cancelo shot a ball that the goalkeeper turned into a corner kick in the ninth minute.
The pressure from the Blaugrana continued, until Lewandowski succeeded in scoring the lead goal in the 22nd minute, after he shot below the left of goalkeeper Antonio Silveira.
Barcelona goalkeeper Iñaki Peña excelled in blocking a header shot from Alaves player Joridi in the 36th minute.
Ilkay Gundogan saved Barcelona from the equalizer, as he cleared a ball from inside the penalty area in the 37th minute.
At the beginning of the second half, Gundogan succeeded in scoring the second goal in the 50th minute, as he received a cross pass from Pedri on the left side inside the penalty area, and successfully shot the bird in the middle of the goal.
Amorodion quickly reduced the score for Deportivo Alaves by scoring the first goal in the 51st minute, as he received a cross from his colleague on the right side, rose and shot a header to the left of goalkeeper Iñaki Peña.
German player Ilkay Gundogan suffered a back injury during the 58th minute, and was unable to complete the play, and Vitor Roque entered in his place.
Vitor Roque succeeded in adding the third goal for Barcelona in the 63rd minute, as he received a ground pass from Hector Forte, and shot a low ball creeping down the left of goalkeeper Antonio Silveira.
In the 72nd minute, Vitor Roque received the second yellow card, due to his violent intervention on the Deportivo Alaves defender, and the match referee showed the red card in his face.
The Blaugrana continued to control the course of the game in the remaining minutes, continuing the series of victories for the second match in a row, after overcoming the Osasuna barrier in the last round.
