Ted Baker is to shut 15 of its stores across the UK within weeks, the retailer’s administrators have announced.Around 245 staff will be made redundant as part of the cost-cutting plans. The UK’s construction industry has returned to growth after six consecutive months of decline, according to a closely watched survey.A boost in civil engineering and a stabilisation in housebuilding helped drive the recovery, S&P Global found. The firm’s purchasing managers index (PMI) score, calculated using the survey results, rose to 50.2 in March.The figure is up from 49.7 in February and is the highest since August last year.
