Adam Peaty is an English swimmer and specialises in breaststroke. Peaty holds the world record in the 100 metre breaststroke and in 2016 he became an Olympic gold medalist. Aged 21, he took home the first gold medal of the Rio Games for Team GB and became only the fourth British man to win an Olympic swimming title in 40 years.
