Tea party: South Africa 210-7 trail Australia by 289 points
Game 90: South Africa 210-7- (Tren 61, Mlaba 15) Garth came over one last time before tea. This partnership has now irked the Aussies and they will be looking to wrap up the game. Gass came close to a breakthrough with a disguised slower delivery on the final ball before tea. Mhlaba swings – but misses! The ball just went over the stumps. It’s time for my coffee – be right back!
Round 89: South Africa 204-7- (Tren 55, Mlaba 15) Some fantastic footage shows children playing cricket outside the main arena, taking over a path with grass on either side. Love these grounds with space for the kids to play. In any case, it was Tryon’s turn to create a boundary, and she caught Brown’s rare wide ball and sailed it over cover. Once over tea.
Round 88: South Africa 200-7- (Tren 51, Mhlaba 15) Mhlaba is a woman on a mission and she slams Gase like a woman pushing a frying pan. There’s another one! This time it’s a little more orthodox. A third strike and hope followed, but only one.
Round 88: South Africa 190-7- (Tren 50, Mlaba 6) A brilliant delivery from Brown, Healy caught the ball on the rise behind the bat, followed by a threatening inswinger’s final ball.
Tryon’s first Test fifty!

Round 85: South Africa 178-6 (Tren 45, Jafta 9) It was 33 degrees at WACA, the Fremantle doctor came in in the afternoon and the flag was flying. Round 84: South Africa 173-6 (Tren 41, Jafta 9) Brown, face so fresh, long, accelerating approach. Causing all kinds of indecision, girl.
Game 83: South Africa 173-6 (Tren 41, Jafta 9) There was a bit of a delay in getting their drinks on a hot day. Everything that happened at Gase was over, starting with a sweet drive from Jaffa. Then, the three beauties continuously hit the outer edge, and Tren almost slipped on the edge.
Game 82: South Africa 168-6 (Tren 41, Jafta 4) Darcy Brown was at the other end with the new ball, bowling towards the construction site end. First up are two huge inside players, two big pound-for-pound attractions, and Tryon is both at sea. She then swung and was beaten on the outside edge. Super girl, has anyone been to WACA/been to WACA recently? How is the old girl doing now?
Round 81: South Africa 168-6 (Tren 41, Jafta 4). Garth stood at the end of her target, pounding the ground—well, almost. Wait, four slips and one ditch. Speed is 105-108 kilometers per hour (mid sixties per hour). Jaffa leaves every ball determined.
Game 80: South Africa 168-6 (Tren 41, Jafta 4) King, sunglasses, long sleeves turned up, bowling in sneakers. Jafta cut into the sideline and the ball sailed through Healy’s legs. Ah – the new ball has arrived.

Round 71: South Africa 153-4 (Tucker 62, Tryon 32) Ash Gardner continued. She wears some pretty fringe shades. Red, style SWAT judge. Guess what─it’s a girl! Time for a drink.
Game 70: South Africa 153-4 (Tucker 62, Tryon 32) King ripped the ball open and then leapt and descended from the launch point. South Africa is peaceful after lunch, with more teenage girls than in a Jane Austen novel.
Round 69: South Africa 153-4 (Tucker 62, Tryon 32) Everything became very quiet. This is just the latest single from Molineux. Oh, here’s Alana King – can she spice things up a bit?

Round 67: South Africa 151-4 (Tucker 60, Tryon 32) anything you can do…Gardner tied Tryon up. Another girl. Would love to see more outfielders around the bat to try and make that pressure work, Healy has a lot of runs to make.
You have a monster ahead, and the battlefield is still spread out. Bring one leg slide with bat pads on either side and another slide… #AUSvSA

It’s a very tough chance, but a chance nonetheless – Tryon gets the inside edge at the top of her pad, but Healy can’t hold on to the catch. The batsmen survived and South Africa ended a hard-fought match with a decent effort from the visitors. This is just one wicket for Australia this morning. It’s time to have something to eat.
