The design featured an elegant sweetheart neckline and a flowing, long skirt, giving the dress a softer, more understated look. Jolie paired the dress with an oversized cream-colored coat from Calvin Klein, black aviator sunglasses and pointed-toe pumps. You can see the photos at the bottom of this article.
The actress has spent years developing a wardrobe with a carefully curated color palette of neutral tones and regularly wears dark dresses. For example, last fall Jolie wore a minimalist black slip dress to the premiere of Couture in San Sebastián.

Jolie’s appearance takes place amid the promotional campaign for Couturewritten and directed by Alice Winocour. Earlier this week, Jolie spoke in an interview with People about the message of the film.
‘Alice is a fantastic director and approaches the women’s stories Couture with sensitivity and hope. The film is not about the end of my character, but rather about a renewed desire to live fully until your last breath, something that particularly speaks to me at this point in my life,” she said.
