The elected governor of Anbar, Muhammad Nouri Ahmed, met today, Tuesday, with Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, where the latter stressed the importance of maintaining the stability of the province.
The governor’s media office explained, “The meeting discussed the importance of local governments and their role in providing services in line with the central government’s directions in its service and development paths.”
He added, “The Prime Minister stressed the importance of maintaining the stability of Anbar Governorate, continuing cooperation between the people of the governorate and the security services, proceeding with reconstruction and service projects, and addressing a number of files related to the governorate in a way that meets the needs of the governorate’s citizens.”
