Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain, acknowledged the transfer of Frenchman Kylian Mbappé, the Parisian striker, to Real Madrid.
The player informed the Paris administration that he would leave for free last Tuesday, paving his way to the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to the Spanish newspaper “AS”, the story of Mbappe and Real Madrid has reached its final stage, after the royal club completed its agreement with the French striker to transfer for free to the “Santiago Bernabeu” next summer.
The Spanish newspaper indicated that Nasser Al-Khelaifi held several meetings with people he trusts this week, and in one of them he admitted that Mbappe had signed for Real Madrid 100%.
AS explained that this information it obtained is consistent with Marca newspaper’s confirmation today that Mbappe has signed with Real Madrid until the summer of 2029.
It was reported that Real Madrid dealt with the Mbappe deal with extreme caution, because it is possible that the Merengues will meet Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League this season.
Despite this, Real Madrid refused to wait in the story of signing Mbappe until May, as happened in 2022, because any unexpected change that might occur at the last minute would put the club in trouble in front of its fans.
AS confirmed that Real Madrid fans can breathe a sigh of relief now, because the Mbappe deal has already been completed, and it is only a matter of time to announce it officially.
