The Iraqi Handball Federation announced today, Wednesday, the participation of the current season’s Iraqi Premier League champion, Al-Karkh, and its runner-up, Al-Hashd, in the Arab Clubs’ League and Cup Champions competitions.
A statement by the Federation – received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) – stated that “Al-Karkh and Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi teams, which won first and second place in the Iraqi Premier League for the current season, will participate in the 39th edition of the Arab Clubs Championship, which will be hosted by Kuwait during the period from September 15 to 25.”
