Fashion brand Summum opened its doors this spring at Kleine Berg 28 in the bustling center of Eindhoven. During Dutch Design Week (18–26 October), Summum’s shop window transforms into a stage for the LOADS Collection by artist Claudy Jongstra and her son Jesk Jongstra, forerunners in local production chains. Visitors are invited to be inspired by their innovative vision on sustainable production and craft.
At Summum it is all about creating a perfect balance between modern elegance and timeless class. The store invites visitors to discover their own style with items according to the latest trends and a dose of self-confidence. Eindhoven is known as the city of creatives and design enthusiasts. That is why the Summum store between October 18 and 26 will not only offer inspiration from the latest collections, but also from innovative initiatives in the fashion world such as the work of Jesk and Claudy Jongstra.
About LOADS Collection
LOADS Collection is the world’s first Demeter-certified biodynamic textile label, founded by Dutch artist Claudy Jongstra and her son Jesk Jongstra. The collection consists of traditionally produced clothing and interior designs made from 100% natural fibers, dyed with vegetable colors, without synthetic materials or chemical treatments. All products are made on-demand so that each piece is unique. The materials come from the Jongstra’s own farm in Friesland and from biodynamic farmers and shepherds in Europe.
In collaboration with various organizations, the collection contributes to regenerative agriculture and socially inclusive production processes. The textiles are fully traceable and are processed through equitably distributed partnerships, from farmers and shepherds to small-scale spinning mills and workshops. LOADS Collection stands for luxurious, biodynamic and ethical textiles that are both sustainable and biodegradable.
Discover the LOADS Collection in the Summum window between October 18 and 26.
