
Hamas said Thursday it will send a delegation to Cairo as soon as possible to keep working on ceasefire talks, in response to Egypt’s latest proposal. Its leader Ismail Haniyeh said he spoke to Egyptâs intelligence chief and âstressed the positive spirit of the movement in studying the ceasefire proposal.â This comes as more arrests were made during the pro-Palestinian protests that have swept US college campuses.
