Het aantal keren dat de diagnose huidkanker wordt gesteld is in tien jaar tijd met 65 procent toegenomen. Vorig jaar werd ruim 25.000 keer bij mensen een kwaadaardig plekje aangetroffen (zo’n duizend meer dan in 2023). Vooral bij 75-plussers neemt het aantal schrikbarend toe.
