Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced on Monday the start of construction of three lines of new fortifications along 2,000 kilometers in Ukraine.
Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel: “An important topic is fortification… Prime Minister Denis Shmygal’s report on the pace of building new defensive lines… three lines 2,000 kilometers long, a large-scale mission.”
On March 4, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denis Shmygal, said that Kiev had allocated more than 20 billion hryvnia ($525.6 million) to build fortifications this year. At the same time, the Ukrainian parliamentarian for the European Solidarity Party, Victoria Siumar, indicated that the country lacks… Funds are urgently needed to solve this problem.
